A flawless nail has never carried weight.
A spotless reputation has never faced temptation.
An unquestioned ideal has never met reality.
Only the hammer reveals what metal truly is.
Only experience reveals what a person truly is.
This work reflects on the illusion of untouched perfection. What has never been tested has never had the chance to fail—but neither has it had the chance to prove its strength.
The measure of a life is not how perfectly it begins, but how faithfully it endures the blows.
