An imperial emblem promises permanence. It speaks of power, lineage, and the illusion that authority can outlive time. Yet every throne, no matter how mighty, eventually belongs to history.
The poem beneath the object does not describe conquest but sunset. When evening falls, distinctions disappear. Crowns, empires, victories, and defeats are swallowed by the same shadow. Time grants no privilege to rulers.
The work is not about a particular empire. It is about every empire. Every nation, ideology, dynasty, or institution that mistakes its moment for eternity eventually discovers the same truth: history is longer than ambition.
The emblem remains, but only as an artifact. Power fades. Symbols survive. Memory decides what they ultimately mean.
