I Earned this rust!

Philosophy of the Work
I Earned This Rust
We admire polished surfaces.
We hide scars.
We repaint what time has touched.
We celebrate youth as though it were an achievement.
Yet nothing that has truly lived remains untouched.
The rust on this nail is not a defect.
It is a biography.
Every stain was earned through time.
Every mark is evidence of endurance.
Every layer tells the story of surviving seasons that new metal has never known.
People are no different.
Our disappointments, losses, failures, and sacrifices leave their own kind of rust. We spend years trying to hide it, forgetting that character is not formed despite those marks, but because of them.
The nail does not apologize for what time has written upon it.
Neither should we.
Perhaps the most beautiful things are not those that remained perfect, but those that remained standing long enough to earn their rust.
