Whose blood is holier?
The cross is meant to unite.
Here, it becomes a witness.
Two people may pray to the same God, wear the same symbol, repeat the same words of faith — and still be told that one must kill the other.
War creates distinctions where faith recognizes none. It gives people different uniforms, different flags, different names for the same blood. Each side may ask God for protection. Each may believe that justice stands with them. Each may look at the cross before entering battle.
But the cross does not change from one chest to another.
And neither does blood.
The work does not question faith. It is the other question.
If both men carry the same symbol of sacrifice, forgiveness and love — whose death is more sacred? Whose suffering matters more? Whose blood is holier?
